Clã Endorfina: The 'Endorphin Clan' Uniting São Paulo Through Running
Clã Endorfina started with nine friends—Alexandre, César, Felipe, Marcelo, Marcia, Marcos, Rafael, Renato, and Roberto—who met at different runs around São Paulo. They all wanted to help others get into running and make sure everyone felt included. In October 2017, they made it official and started the Endorphin Clan, a group where people could make friends, support beginners, and enjoy running together.
The name 'Endorphin Clan' reflects what the group is about: the good feeling and connection that comes from running. Their logo shows hives for family and a skull to remind everyone that all runners are equal. The crew’s main idea is to build a community based on shared passion and support.
Clã Endorfina has built a supportive group in São Paulo. They believe in leaving no one behind, which brings together runners from all backgrounds. The crew focuses on helping each other and making everyone feel welcome, especially people new to running.
Every Saturday at 7:00 a.m., Clã Endorfina meets at Praça Reynaldo Porchat in Butantã for their main run. They also host special events like Friday the 13th and Halloween runs, with different start times and distances so everyone can join in, no matter their level.
Clã Endorfina welcomes anyone who wants to run with them. If you’re interested, you can join their Saturday morning runs and be part of their community.
Clã Endorfina is one of many running crews in São Paulo. Other groups like Seven Runners Crew, RockPacers, and TamoJunto each have their own style and help build a friendly, supportive running community in the city.
Clã Endorfina and other runners in São Paulo enjoy many different routes. Ibirapuera Park is a favorite for its green trails and peaceful atmosphere. Avenida Paulista offers a more urban run with city views and street art. For a tougher workout, Parque Estadual da Cantareira has hills and great views.
São Paulo hosts many big running events. The São Paulo International Marathon is a major race that brings people from all over. The São Silvestre Road Race, held on New Year's Eve, is one of the oldest and most famous street races in the world.
